LAST UPDATE: 5/10/13 Knott’s Berry Farm is a theme park located in Buena Park, not far from Disneyland, and is open year-round. There are a lot of Knott’s Berry Farm discounts available.
Knott’s two associated Southern California water parks, Knott’s Soak City in Buena Park (near Disneyland), and Palm Springs, are open seasonally. I’ve compiled Knott’s Soak City discounts below.
New!The former Knott’s Soak City in Chula Vista (near San Diego, fairly close to the San Diego Zoo and SeaWorld San Diego) was purchased by SeaWorld in 2012 and will reopen as Aquatica San Diego in early summer, 2013.

Knott’s Berry Farm – Regular Gate Prices
Admission prices are: $59.99 for Regular (age 12 and up); $30.99 for Juniors (ages 3-11); $30.99 for Seniors (62+).
2013 Season Pass (admission to Knott’s Berry Farm through 12/31/13) costs $72 for all ages including Juniors (ages 3-11) and Seniors (62+).
2013 Gold Pass (admission to Knott’s Berry Farm through 12/31/13 and all Soak City Water Parks for the 2013 season) costs $96 for Regular (age 12 and up); $90 for Juniors (ages 3-11) and Seniors (62+).
2013 Platinum Pass (one year of admission to both Knott’s Berry Farm and all Soak City Water Parks + free parking, as well as all Cedar Fair parks) costs $180 for Regular (ages 3-61, 48″ and taller); $105 for Juniors (ages 3 and up, under 48″); $105 for Seniors (62+).
Parking is $15 per day for autos; $20 for buses and RVs.

Toys For Tots
This is an annual event held in December (exact dates vary each year). Admission is FREE when a toy, valued at $25 or more, is purchased and donated to Knott’s Berry Farm’s annual Toys for Tots drive. Proof of purchase required.

Southern California Resident Discounts
Southern California residents (zip codes 90000-93599) can purchase Regular (adult) tickets for $46.99 at the ticket booths with proof of residency.
Military
Show your military ID at the ticket window and get in for a discounted rate (NOT valid for special ticket events such as Halloween Haunt).
Annual Military Tribute
This is an annual event in November (exact dates vary each year). Past and present US armed forces personnel receive FREE park admission for them and a guest. Up to six additional tickets can be purchased at a discount. Military ID or DD214 must be presented at the ticket window with a photo ID required for discount. MouseSavers.com reader Kimberly F reports this can be used up to once per day during the length of the promotion, so you could get free admission on multiple days!
Annual Fire and Police Tribute
This is an annual event in November-December (exact dates vary each year). Fire & Police personnel receive FREE park admission for them and a guest. Up to six additional tickets could be purchased at a discount. Fire and law enforcement ID required.
Multi-Park Tickets & Passes
If you also plan to visit Universal Studios Hollywood, Six Flags Magic Mountain, and Legoland California, you can save up to 26% off gate prices with the LA Theme Park Pass.
If you also plan to visit Universal Studios Hollywood, San Diego Zoo, and Sea World San Diego, you can save up to 20% off gate prices by picking the SoCal Theme Park Pass.

Gray Line Day Tour
Gray Line offers a 9-hour bus tour from Anaheim to Knott’s Berry Farm. Courtesy hotel pick-up for the tour is provided from most Anaheim, Buena Park and Garden Grove area hotels. The Gray Line tour is especially suitable for those who are not comfortable with driving the California freeways, since all of the ground transportation from place to place is provided.
The Knott’s Berry Farm tour is priced the same as a full-price ticket to Knott’s, making it a great deal.
Regular cost for the Knott’s Berry Farm tour is $57.99 for adults, $27.99 for children (ages 3-11).

Knott’s Berry Farm – Special Events
Halloween Haunt
Halloween Haunt (aka “Knott’s Scary Farm”) is an annual event that generally starts in late September 24. Halloween Haunt transforms the family-friendly Knott’s Berry Farm into a 160-acre living horror movie filled with 13 chilling mazes, seven hair-raising shows, three horrific scare zones and 1,000 monsters roaming for their next victim. This event is not recommended for children under 13. Click here for more information.
Christmas Events
“Knott’s Merry Farm” is an annual event. Festivities include “A Charlie Brown Christmas” with seasonal entertainment, spectacular decorations including a 65 foot tall Christmas tree, and a colorful Christmas parade. Generally the events start on Thanksgiving day and run through about December 30.
Knott’s 1880s Ghost Town is transformed into Knott’s Christmas Crafts Village, inviting guests to explore one-of-a-kind treasures created by more than 100 artisans in a Victorian holiday wonderland of strolling carolers, musical groups, community choirs and lavish holiday decorations.
“A Peanuts Holiday Parade” offers seven elaborately themed floats featuring the Peanuts Gang and accompanied by students from Orange County Song and Dance Company. Children and adults alike will be able to get into the holiday spirit along with CHARLIE BROWN, LUCY, LINUS, SALLY, SCHROEDER and of course SNOOPY, as they ready for the holidays. Join them as they partake in all the holiday festivities, including candy making, tree trimming, and even toy building!
“Snoopy’s Cool Christmas,” performed in the 2,100-seat Charles M. Schulz Theatre, is hosted by the famous skating Beagle and features Knott’s ensemble skaters, dazzling sets, colorful costumes and plenty of surprises.
The show and parade are included with regular park admission and available to Christmas Crafts Village guests for a nominal additional charge.
Live performances of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” and O’Henry’s “A Gift of the Magi” are offered from Thanksgiving day through Christmas Eve in the Bird Cage Theatre.
Stop by Santa’s Toy Barn for a little one-on-one with the big guy. Here, in Santa’s cozy hideaway, kids can share their wish lists with St. Nick, and Mom and Dad can take home a picture of the occasion (photo requires additional fee).
The world famous Timber Mountain Log Ride is transformed for the holiday season, giving guests an up-close and-personal view into the world of Santa’s Elves. Sneak a peak as Santa’s helpers get ready for Santa’s busiest day of the year.
