Legoland Florida Discounts & Coupons

LAST UPDATE: 4/7/14 Legoland Florida, which opened October 15, 2011 in Winter Haven (about 45 minutes south of Walt Disney World) on the site of the old Cypress Gardens, offers rides, shows and attractions, including a water park, ideal for young children ages 2-12. There are some promotions that can save you money. Check below for the latest Legoland Florida discounts, coupons, and offers.

All offers are subject to change without notice. Always call ahead and confirm before driving out of your way to take advantage of a particular offer!

MouseSavers.com reader Martha B points out, “During the week, Legoland allows school groups in. The vast majority of the crowd was indeed school groups (during our visit). This made the park more crowded than on the weekend according to one of the workers I spoke with. It also makes the ride times longer, because on many of the rides the shorter children need an adult to ride. The adult chaperones would stay on the ride over and over as the children swapped out.” So ironically, you may find it’s less crazy on weekends!

Amazon Local Offer

  • Amazon Local is offering a combined adult and child Legoland Florida admission for the price of a single adult admission. You receive a voucher that must be redeemed at the park before 12/20/14. This is a great deal if you have the same number of adults and children in your group. If you have a different number of adults and children, you may find that Undercover Tourist or one of the other promos on this page is a better choice, or it might be worth it to split your purchase. There is no expiration date on the deal, but Amazon Local deals often go away quickly.

Undercover Tourist Discounts

Undercover Tourist, a very reliable ticket broker, sells Legoland Florida 1-day and 2-day tickets at a significant discount. Undercover Tourist sells real tickets that you can take through the gate (not vouchers) and its prices include tax and FREE shipping, so be sure to account for that when comparing prices.

Legoland Florida Website Offers

Legoland’s website sometimes has discounts for advance purchase tickets. Click here to check out their offers.

Barbara’s Cereal Promo

A coupon for 40% off the gate price for a 1-day ticket to Legoland Florida is printed inside specially marked boxes of Barbara’s cereal, available at health food stores and in the natural food section of many large supermarkets. The coupon can be cut out and taken to the gate to get the discount, or you can buy tickets in advance by going to LEGOLAND.com/Barbaras2014, selecting a park, selecting your desired number of adult & child tickets, and entering promotion code 149902. The coupon expires on 12/31/2014. Tickets expire one year after purchase. Thanks to Nancy M for info.

LEGO Toy Promo

LEGO has a coupon for ‘buy one adult ticket, get a FREE child ticket’ on the back of some of the very small Lego ‘mini-kits’ available in stores. The ‘mini-kits’ are themed (samples are Harry Potter and Star Wars kits) and priced at around $4.99. Look for a yellow cut-out coupon on the back of the cellophane wrapper. This offer requires purchase of the ‘mini-kit’ of Legos, but you don’t have to buy tickets in advance! Just bring the wrapper to the ticket counter at Legoland. Note that adults must pay the full $75 admission fee, plus applicable tax. Offer can not be combined with other offers, and the expiration date is unknown. Thanks to Margaret H for info.

Costco Discount

Costco members can purchase a General Admission E-Ticket for $49.99, good for 1-day admission for ages 3 and up. You don’t have to be a Costco member to buy through their site. (Non-members pay a 5% surcharge, however.) The ticket should be emailed to you within an hour. Print out a copy to present/scan at the park entrance. Ticket is valid through 12/31/14. Thanks to Jenny C for info.

AAA Discounts

Each AAA (Auto Club) region has a different ticket policy. Not all regions carry discounted Legoland Florida tickets; regions that do carry the tickets may offer various promotions, which will come and go. To purchase tickets online, you must do so through your own region’s website. When purchasing in person, your AAA card is good in any AAA office in any region.

Military Discounts

Active military personnel are entitled to a free single day admission throughout 2014. Present valid military ID at the ticket window on the day you plan to visit to redeem your free admission ticket. Thanks to Diana M for info.

Tickets can be pre-purchased at a greater discount at the ITT at your MWR office on base. One reader notes that if eligible military members go to their local ITR office or to Shades of Green they can purchase a 1 day adult/child ticket for $46 and a 2 day adult/child ticket for $55. Thanks to Steph S for info.
