Legoland Florida Discounts & Coupons
LAST UPDATE: 6/11/13 Legoland Florida, which opened October 15, 2011 in Winter Haven (about 45 minutes south of Walt Disney World) on the site of the old Cypress Gardens, offers rides, shows and attractions, including a water park, ideal for young children ages 2-12. There are some promotions that can save you money. Check below for the latest Legoland Florida discounts, coupons, and offers.
All offers are subject to change without notice. Always call ahead and confirm before driving out of your way to take advantage of a particular offer!
MouseSavers.com reader Martha B points out, “During the week, Legoland allows school groups in. The vast majority of the crowd was indeed school groups (during our visit). This made the park more crowded than on the weekend according to one of the workers I spoke with. It also makes the ride times longer, because on many of the rides the shorter children need an adult to ride. The adult chaperones would stay on the ride over and over as the children swapped out.” So ironically, you may find it’s less crazy on weekends!

New!Home Depot Promo
An online promotion from the Home Depot Kids Workshops offers one FREE child ticket with the purchase of a full-priced adult ticket to Legoland Florida. Note that you have to order one set at a time or any additional tickets end up being full price. Also, this site does not work in the Safari browser! I had no problems when using Firefox, though. Expires 12/31/13. Thanks to Shara H for info.
Fast Food & Supermarket Promos
Some Publix stores in Florida may be selling the 1-Day Admission + Water Park Combo Ticket for Legoland for $84.14 for adults (ages 13-59), $73.49 for seniors (60+) and children (3-12), tax included. Tickets must be used by 10/31/13. Thanks to Sandy H for info.
LEGO Toy Promo
LEGO has a coupon for ‘buy one adult ticket, get a FREE child ticket’ on the back of some of the very small Lego ‘mini-kits’ available in stores. The ‘mini-kits’ are themed (samples are Harry Potter and Star Wars kits) and priced at around $4.99. Look for a yellow cut-out coupon on the back of the cellophane wrapper. This offer requires purchase of the ‘mini-kit’ of Legos, but you don’t have to buy tickets in advance! Just bring the wrapper to the ticket counter at Legoland. Note that adults must pay the full $75 admission fee, plus applicable tax. Offer can not be combined with other offers, and the expiration date is unknown. Thanks to Margaret H for info.
AAA Discounts
Each AAA (Auto Club) region has a different ticket policy. Not all regions carry discounted Legoland Florida tickets; regions that do carry the tickets may offer various promotions, which will come and go. To purchase tickets online, you must do so through your own region’s website. When purchasing in person, your AAA card is good in any AAA office in any region.
- MouseSavers.com reader Alice M reports that AAA Midatlantic is offering discounted tickets, so if you are a member in that region, be sure to check.
- Auto Club South offers its members a discount on Legoland Florida admission when purchased in advance, either in person or online. Members from other regions may purchase these discounted tickets at an Auto Club South office, in person only.
Military Discounts
Active military personnel receive a 10% discount on one-day admission tickets at the ticket booths and Guest Services with valid military ID. Tickets can be pre-purchased at a greater discount at the ITT at your MWR office on base. One reader notes that if eligible military members go to their local ITR office or to Shades of Green they can purchase a 1 day adult/child ticket for $46 and a 2 day adult/child ticket for $55. Thanks to Steph S for info!
