The score is by Disney legend and eight-time Academy Award® winner Alan Menken (Beauty and The Beast, Sister Act) and Jack Feldman (The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride, 102 Dalmations).

The book is by four-time Tony Award® winner Harvey Fierstein (La Cage Aux Folles, Torch Song Trilogy).

This dynamic smash hit is choreographed by Tony Award®nominee Christopher Gattelli (South Pacific) and directed by Tony Award® nominee Jeff Calhoun (Big River).

Newsies previews began on March 15, 2012 and opening night was March 29, 2012. After originally opening for a limited run and then being extended, Newsies is now scheduled as an open-ended run.
