Locations Near Disney World and Disneyland

Dollar Rent a Car is located on airport property in Orlando. You can just walk right out to the garage to pick up your car.

Dollar also has a location in the Regal Sun Resort near Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World. Thank you to Jim W for info.

Dollar is off-site but offers shuttle service at the Orange County, CA (SNA) airport. It has a regular shuttle at LAX.

Dollar Express

The Dollar Express frequent renter program (which is free) will save you time when renting from Dollar, because you get to wait in a special Dollar Express line that gets served ahead of the regular line, plus part of the paperwork is already done when you get to the check-in desk. To join, visit Dollar.com and click on the "Programs" tab.

Additional Drivers

Be aware that most Dollar locations, including the Orlando airport location, charge a premium on additional drivers, even if they are a spouse or domestic partner. Typically the cost is about $10 per day.

Discounts, Codes and Coupons

To find the best rates, I recommend trying every code that applies to your travel dates and desired car type when checking rates for Dollar online. Just type the code into the "Promo Codes" box on the Dollar web site.

The codes below are good for anyone to use and do not require a paper coupon. Holiday and other blackout periods apply to most codes. A limited number of vehicles are available at promotional rates at participating Dollar locations. If one code doesn't work, try another. Rates do not include taxes and fees.

		Be sure to try booking Dollar with no code at all. Sometimes it's a better deal than the rates with a code! Also, look for a pop-up offering City Special rates in Orlando. Once you've selected your dates and location, click on the pop-up to save extra money. Thanks to Robert K for info!

• Use promo code EMIDD at Dollar to get 5% off rentals of a Midsize car. Offer available for pickups through 8/18/10 at participating US locations.

• American Express cardholders can use promo code AXMG at Dollar to get 10% off your rental plus a 1 year subscription to Travel + Leisure magazine. Payment with an American Express Card is required. Rental must end by 9/30/10 at participating US locations.

• American Express cardholders can use promo code AX10 at Dollar to get 10% off your rental. Payment with an American Express Card is required. Rental must end by 12/31/10 at participating US locations.
