The 388-room Fairfield Inn® & Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista in the Marriott Village offers great value pricing on its standard rooms that sleep up to 4 guests and in its new family suites that sleep 4 or 5, plus daily complimentary continental breakfast is included in your room rate! All guest rooms have been recently renovated in this hotel. The hotel lobby and dining room were also redone with new carpet, drapes and furnishings.

This hotel is part of the unique Marriott Village concept, which allows you to stay in a dependable, recognizable hotel brand, yet also gives you access to extra services you wouldn’t normally get at a Fairfield Inn. That’s because of the shared, gated “village,” which includes two other hotels and a Village Marketplace with multiple dining and shopping options.

Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista in the Marriott Village offers standard rooms with two double beds or one King bed. The hotel also offers 50 Hawaiian-themed family suites. In the family suites, there is a kids’ room outfitted with an LCD flat screen television and bunk beds (either two single beds, or a bottom double mattress and a single on top to sleep three children comfortably), while the adults’ room has a King bed and its own flat screen TV.

All rooms have the “Revive” bed from Marriott, featuring new thicker mattresses, duvets and luxury linens. Each room includes cable television and guests have access to new release movies (extra fee), as well as a small fridge and coffeemaker. The bathroom has a separate sink area. All rooms include a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and two telephones with voicemail and dataports.

All rooms have FREE wireless high-speed Internet access. There is also FREE wireless Internet access in some public areas of the hotel.

Each morning the hotel serves a FREE “expanded continental” breakfast to all its guests. This includes cold items such as breads, pastries, bagels, yogurt and juices, plus hot drinks and one hot food item such as scrambled eggs. The breakfast is included in the price of your room.

There is no other restaurant service at the Fairfield Inn, but since it’s part of the Marriott Village you have quick and easy access to the Village Marketplace, which includes on-site ice cream, pizza, deli and grill (subs, salads, pizza, burgers, etc.), and a coffee bar serving Starbucks. For a change of pace, the Courtyard in the Marriott Village has a cafe that serves a hot breakfast buffet at reasonable prices. It’s a very short stroll over to the adjacent Bahama Breeze (casual dining) and Golden Corral (buffet). Some local restaurants will deliver to your hotel room. In addition to the seasonal pool bars at each hotel, there is a nice lounge in the lobby of the Courtyard in the Marriott Village.

Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista in the Marriott Village offers an outdoor heated pool and whirlpool spa with a pool bar (open seasonally), as well as a water play area for kids. You are allowed to “pool hop” to the pools at the other two hotels in Marriott Village if you wish.

The hotel has a fitness room with towels and water provided. Guests have access to a coin laundry and there is also laundry/dry cleaning valet service available. For kids there is a video arcade. If you need to keep valuables safe, there are safe deposit boxes at the front desk.

There is a gift shop that sells all the basics, as well as a desk that sells Disney tickets. The Village Marketplace also includes a convenience store that sells refrigerated and frozen food items, snacks, drinks and sundries.

Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista in the Marriott Village offers scheduled transportation to Walt Disney World. The hotel has a Concierge Service offering guests assistance with restaurant reservations, information and tickets to local area attractions and theme parks. The hotel’s concierge service can also arrange transportation services to and from the airport, SeaWorld, Universal Studios and Kennedy Space Center for a fee.

If you choose to rent a car (which I recommend if you need a lot of flexibility), Hertz car rental has a desk in the hotel complex. It’s an easy and quick drive to the Disney theme parks and there is gated self-parking at Marriott Village for $5 per night.
