Royal Plaza in the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort

Royal Plaza Orlando in the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort has begun a major transformation. 

Everything from the guest rooms to the public areas will be updated and renovated. I’ve seen a test room and drawings: the new decor is gorgeous.

Starting around April 2013, major renovations to the public areas at Royal Plaza are expected to begin, and to run through the summer and early fall. These renovations could take the pool, lobby areas and/or restaurant/bar out of service at times. Because of the potential for that portion of the renovations to affect your vacation, I have asked the hotel to shut down sales from MouseSavers.com for all check-ins beginning April 1, 2013.

This boutique-style high-rise hotel located on Disney property has long been one of my favorite places to stay. I look forward to bringing MouseSavers.com readers great deals on the newly-remodeled hotel (which will also have a new name) in Fall 2013!
