Why We Like It

B Resort and Spa in the Disney Springs Resort Area is a stylish hotel featuring 394 guest rooms and suites. This MouseSavers Preferred Hotel has nice resort amenities and playful décor that will appeal to anyone who loves modern, unpretentious design. A favorite among MouseSavers readers, the B Resort’s design is refreshing and absolutely unique among Walt Disney World area hotels. This resort is one of the seven Disney Springs Resort Area hotels that are located on Disney World property, but not owned or operated by Disney. The B features large tower rooms that sleep up to 5 comfortably.

We recently stayed at the B, and were exceptionally impressed with the friendly staff, fun design touches and the overall level of comfort. Walking into the clean white lobby with its colorful, comfortable chairs and “living room” seating areas, we were struck by a feeling of cool relief from the Florida heat and humidity. There really is nothing else like it in the area; the closest Disney hotel comparison in terms of décor might be the Contemporary, but you’ll find the rates to be much much lower. In fact, the rates at the B Resort are some of the lowest you will find in the Disney Springs area!

When you stay at the B Resort and Spa you’ll have access to Walt Disney World’s Early Theme Park Entry program! The Early Theme Park Entry program allows you to enter any of the four main theme parks 30 minutes before official opening. Early Theme Park Entry is available every day. Select attractions, dining and merchandise locations will be open. 

If you are looking for a place to stay that feels fresh and modern with moderate rates, the B Resort & Spa offers a unique, fun vibe with all the amenities of a full-service resort hotel. The location in the Disney Springs district of the Walt Disney World Resort is super convenient. On top of that, they offer special low rates to MouseSavers readers!

Rooms

There are three types of guest rooms, each with either a king bed or two queen beds, playfully called Chic, Captivating and Stunning.

Chic Rooms are located near the pool area, and feature a private balcony or terrace. In addition to a king or two queen bed configurations, there are 20 Chic Family Rooms featuring a king Blissful Bed® and bunk beds. Make sure you request a Chic Family Room at time of booking since availability is limited. Chic rooms sleep up to 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children in the Family Room configuration.

Captivating Rooms are a bit larger than Chic Rooms, and are located either in the tower or the pool area. Tower Captivating rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, and feature two queen beds or a king bed, plus a single-sized sleeper chair. Pool rooms offer a private balcony with pool views or a terrace that opens up to the pool and courtyard. Select Captivating Family Rooms also feature a king Blissful Bed® and bunk beds. Queen Captivating rooms in the tower sleep up to 5 adults; king rooms sleep up to 3 adults. Captivating rooms in the pool area sleep up to 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children in the Family Room configuration.

Stunning Rooms are located on higher level floors, with floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing views of the Disney Springs area, Walt Disney World Resort, or the Lake Buena Vista area. Stunning Rooms have the largest square footage of the standard rooms, and include two queen beds or one king bed, plus a sleeper chair. All queen Stunning rooms sleep up to 5; king rooms sleep up to 3.

Room sizes range from around 240 sq ft for a Chic king bedded room to 395 sq ft for a Stunning double queen with sleeper chair.

The bathrooms are modern and roomy, with spacious glass door showers and rain shower heads in most rooms.

There are also several more spacious and more luxurious suite options if you are traveling with a large party, or want to splurge in super-cool extravagance (and save money elsewhere!). Suites have a separate bedroom with king or double queen beds, and a pull-out sleeper sofa in the living room. Some have larger bathrooms, and a wet bar or kitchenette.

All rooms have B Resort signature Blissful Beds® and designer furnishings in black and white and include:

Dining Options

B Resort and Spa has several dining options, and Disney Springs is a few minutes’ walk or drive down the street, providing easy access to a huge complex of restaurants and entertainment, including House Of Blues, Rainforest Cafe, and much more.

American Kitchen Bar and Grill is open daily for breakfast (7 am – 11 am), lunch (12 pm – 4 pm) and dinner (5 pm – 10 pm). It’s a contemporary take on classic American “comfort food” with an industrial, farmhouse-chic vibe. The showpiece of the restaurant is a 1950s cherry-red, Ford F1 pickup truck. We recently dined there for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed their innovative ‘farm to table’ dishes from locally-sourced Florida farms and their own living garden. 

You Should Know

B Resort and Spa provides “light daily housekeeping service”, which includes the following: trash removal, towels refreshed and amenities replenished, and beds straightened. On the 3rd day of their stay, guests receive full service housekeeping, which includes all of the above, with the addition of linen change, vacuuming the guest room and a thorough cleaning of the guest’s bathroom.

Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out is 11 am. The minimum age for check-in at the B Resort and Spa is 21. 

Note: The B Resort & Spa will be undergoing room renovations starting mid to late November 2022 to approximately September 2023. During this time, the resort will close three floors of guestrooms at a time. This will provide a buffer between the occupied guest rooms and those under renovation to minimize the impact on the guest experience. Work is expected to occur from Monday – Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with possible work on some Saturdays.

We don’t have a family of 5, but we do have opposite gender teens who refuse to share a bed. Having a third sleeping area is now essential. My son commented that the pull out bed was the most comfortable he had ever slept on. I must confess that I never sleep the first night of a vacation. But at the B Resort, I fell right asleep on their comfortable beds. We also loved being able to walk to Disney Springs.

When we moved on to Yacht Club the next day, all 9 in our party commented that next time we would happily stay at B Resort instead. Thank you for such a great newsletter and helpful recommendations!”
