Be aware that all of the coasters at Magic Mountain have MANDATORY locker storage before entering the line to get on the ride. This costs $1 at each ride, which can really add up. You are not allowed to carry anything on the coasters, including cell phones, sunglasses, fanny packs, backpacks, camera bags, etc. Tip: consider wearing cargo pants with pockets that close securely with buttons or Velcro. This can save you a bunch of money. Do not put your stuff in regular pockets, particularly on Tatsu, or you may lose things!

Group Tickets

You can save a substantial amount when you buy 15 or more tickets at a time. Plus, if you purchase at least 15 tickets, you'll get one free "chaperone" ticket. (Despite the "chaperone" terminology, any group can buy these tickets.) You have to specify a date when you purchase the tickets, but they are good from that date through the expiration date, and they do not all have to be used on the same date. Be sure to check the expiration date before buying. There is a "print at home" fee of $1.25 as well as a processing fee of $5.00 per order for the group tickets. For groups of 15 or more, tickets are $27.50. per person when purchased by March 31— a savings of over $34 off the general admission! Tickets purchased after March 31 are $27.99 per person. At $27.50 or $27.99 per person, if you have 12 or more people in your party, you will still save money if you purchase 15 tickets at the group price.

Six Flags Magic Mountain - Special Events

Enjoy the ever-popular Fright Fest during weekends in October. Brace yourself for haunted rides, wandering zombies, and terrors at every turn!

Six Flags Magic Mountain is totally transformed into a Halloween playground, Fridays through Sundays in October (exact dates vary each year). Have a ghoulish good time with hair-raising shows, electrifying street entertainment and thrilling haunted houses. Plus, experience all your favorite rides in the dark. Some activities require an extra charge. Some activities are not intended for children under 10.

There's also a special trick-or-treat trail just for kids, and other family-oriented activities. Only children ages 12 & under are allowed to wear costumes to Six Flags Magic Mountain.
