Be aware that all of the coasters at Magic Mountain have MANDATORY locker storage before entering the line to get on the ride. This costs $1 at each ride, which can really add up. You are not allowed to carry anything on the coasters, including cell phones, sunglasses, fanny packs, backpacks, camera bags, etc. Tip: consider wearing cargo pants with pockets that close securely with buttons or Velcro. This can save you a bunch of money. Do not put your stuff in regular pockets, particularly on Tatsu, or you may lose things!

Enjoy the ever-popular Fright Fests during weekends in October. Brace yourself for haunted rides, wandering zombies, and terrors at every turn!

For 2009, Six Flags Magic Mountain is totally transformed into a Halloween playground, Fridays through Sundays, October 3-31. You’ll have a ghoulish good time with hair-raising shows, electrifying street entertainment and thrilling haunted houses. Plus, experience all your favorite rides in the dark. Some activities require an extra charge. Some activities are not intended for children under 10.

There's also a special trick-or-treat trail just for kids, and other family-oriented activities. Only children ages 12 & under are allowed to wear costumes to Six Flags Magic Mountain. No scary/gory costumes allowed. Click here to learn more about Fright Fest.
