  • Walt Disney World has submitted a proposal to begin a phased reopening of Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom on July 11, 2020, and Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on July 15, 2020. Theme park capacity will be significantly limited and an advance reservation will be required to enter the parks. There will also be enhanced safety protocols. New ticket sales and hotel reservations are temporarily paused so Disney can work with guests with existing reservations. (Disney Vacation Club members can make new reservations.) Please note: Disney will continue to update that page as they finalize their plans, and be aware that this information is subject to change.

  • Coronavirus-related closures and updates for upcoming Disney and Universal trips:

    • Walt Disney World has submitted a proposal to begin a phased reopening of Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom on July 11, 2020, and Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on July 15, 2020. Disney Vacation Club resorts and Disney’s Fort Wilderness will begin to reopen on June 22, 2020. During this phase there will also be limited capacity, parking and operating hours; check the Disney Springs Know Before You Go page for the most current information.
    • Universal Orlando Resort theme parks will begin a phased reopening on June 5, 2020 with reduced attendance as well as new health and safety procedures. All Universal Orlando hotels will reopen on June 2, 2020, except for Loews Portofino Bay Hotel and Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites, their reopening dates have not been announced. Select CityWalk venues are open daily from 4 pm–10 pm.
    • Disneyland (California) theme parks, Resort Hotels and Downtown Disney are closed until further notice. Reservations are currently available for travel dates July 1, 2020 and later.
    • Universal Studios Hollywood and CityWalk are closed until further notice.
    • Disney Cruise Line has cancelled all departures through July 27, 2020. They are contacting affected guests.
    • Adventures by Disney has suspended departures through July 2020. They are contacting affected guests.
