If you’re planning to visit multiple attractions in Southern California including Disneyland,  Universal Hollywood and SeaWorld San Diego (plus, optionally, San Diego Zoo OR San Diego Zoo Safari Park), the Southern California CityPASS is a good deal. You can save money by purchasing one of these special passes, compared with purchasing separate admission to each attraction at the ticket booth.

Southern California CityPASS

The 2013 Southern California CityPASS costs $319 for adults, $279 for kids (ages 3-9). This pass bundles admission to Disneyland plus two other major attractions, and is valid for 14 days. You save 26% compared with buying tickets for all three attractions at the ticket booth. First day of use must be on or before 1/2/14.

Upgrading Southern California CityPASS

Should you decide to upgrade your 2013 CityPASS to a 4-day or 5-day Hopper or a Disneyland Annual Pass, you’ll be credited $250 for adult and $235 for child (ages 3-9) toward the more expensive ticket.

Southern California CityPASS + San Diego Zoo or Safari Park

The 2013 Southern California CityPASS + San Diego Zoo or Safari Park costs $353 for adults, $304 for kids (ages 3-9). This pass bundles admission to Disneyland plus three other major attractions, and is valid for 14 days. You save 26% compared with buying tickets for all four attractions at the ticket booth. First day of use must be on or before 1/2/14.

The Southern California CityPASS + San Diego Zoo or Safari Park includes:

If you want to visit BOTH the Zoo and Safari Park, this ticket includes admission to one and gives you 10% off admission to the other (present your CityPASS at ticket booth for the discount).

This ticket is somewhat obscure. It can only be purchased through the CityPASS website; it’s not even sold on the Zoo’s own website.
