Locations for Disney World, Disneyland and Aulani
Walt Disney World (Orlando, Florida)
Avis is located on airport property in Orlando. You can just walk right out to the garage to pick up your car.

Disneyland (Anaheim, California)
Avis is located on airport property in Orange County, CA (SNA).
Avis has a regular shuttle at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Disney’s Aulani Resort (Oahu, Hawaii)
Avis is located on property at the Honolulu airport (HNL). You’ll take a short shuttle ride to the rental car lot.
Wizard Number
Avis has a frequent-renter program that assigns you a “Wizard Number.” In order to get a Wizard Number you pre-register your credit card number and driver’s license number, which can speed your check-in at the airport.
Additional Drivers
Unlike many rental car companies that charge a premium on additional drivers, Avis has quite a liberal policy of allowing a spouse, life partner, employer or fellow employee to drive the vehicle without any additional paperwork or payment. This can save you quite a bit: some rental car companies charge $10 a day or more when you add an additional driver. The policy below is subject to change at any time:
The following individuals, if 25 years of age or older and in possession of a valid driver’s license, may drive the car with the renter’s prior permission:
- Renter’s employer (while on company business);
- Renter’s fellow employee (while on company business);
- Renter’s spouse or life partner.
The above additional drivers are considered “authorized drivers” and need not be present at the time of rental, nor do they need to sign an additional driver form.

Their rates are often the best rates you can find, anywhere. The catch is that you have to buy one or more attraction tickets (totaling at least $100) in order to get the lowest rates. At times the savings can be good enough to warrant buying $100 worth of tickets just to get the rental car deal. If you don’t need a theme park ticket, you can reach $100 by buying movie theater tickets or other vouchers. The car does not need to be rented in Orlando – they offer rates nationwide!

Avis Discounts, Codes and Coupons
To find the best rates, we recommend trying every code that applies to your travel dates and desired car type when checking rates for Avis online. Just type the code into the appropriate box on the Avis website.
The codes below are good for anyone to use and unless otherwise noted, do not require a paper coupon. However, some of them will work only for certain dates and/or car types, and some have blackout dates over certain holidays — so if one doesn’t work, try another. Rates do not include taxes and fees.
Avis Discounts Open to Anyone
- Save up to 25% on rentals at Avis. Offer is valid on all car classes except group X. Advance reservation required. Weekly rates require minimum of five day rental period. Offer is subject to vehicle availability at the time of rental and blackout dates may apply. Use AWD A740300. Rental must begin by 12/31/24.
- Get $15 off when you spend $175 and rent for a minimum of 3 days at participating airport locations at Avis. Offer valid on all car groups except group X. Advance reservation required. Three day minimum keep. Use AWD code MUWA010. Rental must begin by 6/30/24.
- Save up to 25% on weekly rentals at Avis. Offer is valid on all car classes except group X. Advance reservation required. Weekly rates require minimum of five day rental period. - Get a FREE one-car group upgrade on rentals at Avis. Offer is valid on intermediate (group C) through full size (group E) cars, excluding SUV (group F), maximum premium (group G). - Amazon customers save up to 30% on rentals plus receive 10% back in Amazon gift cards, after rental transaction at Avis. Offer good on all car groups except group X. Avis Discounts Requiring Membership, Physical Coupon, etc.
- AARP offers a discount on Avis to its members (any age can join). See the AARP website for the AWD code.
- Choice Privileges members (free to join) can get savings of up to 25% at Avis. Use AWD# W661100.
- Hyatt Gold Passport frequent-stay program members (free to join online) can save up to 20% off Avis rentals with AWD# K817700. Valid at participating Avis airport locations worldwide. Hotel stay is not required. Members must provide their Hyatt Gold Passport membership number at time of rental.
- Discover Card holders can get savings of up to 25% at Avis. Use AWD code Q336600.
- Warehouse clubs such as Costco and BJ’s Wholesale Club may offer discounts on Avis to their members. If you are a member, see their website or stores for specific codes or discount offers.
- USAA is another great source of Avis discounts for its members. In addition to discounts of up to 25%, you get extra rental benefits, including specialized insurance coverage and no additional driver fee if the additional driver is your spouse or other USAA member. And because of its connection to the military, USAA’s agreement with Avis waives the “young driver fee” for rentals to people ages 21-24.
