Why We Like It

Hilton Grand Vacations Suites at SeaWorld Orlando is a family friendly, beautifully-landscaped condominium-style gated resort conveniently located just a 5 mile drive north from Walt Disney World off I-4. This newly added MouseSavers Preferred Hotel is actually a very large and lovely resort featuring 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom fully-furnished condominium-style suites with full kitchens, and studios with kitchenettes that give you plenty of room to spread out and the ability to cook or prepare your own meals. The suites easily suit large parties and families. Central to multiple attractions, it’s a 10-minute walk or a quick 5-minute drive to Discovery Cove and SeaWorld,  just a 12-18 minute drive to the Walt Disney World Resort parks, and a 14-18 minute drive to Universal Orlando. 

The eleven 6-story courtyard style towers that make up HGV SeaWorld extend outward from the main clubhouse and amenity area, and have a quiet, comfortable ambiance. The main entrance, eatery, market and two large swimming pools all look out upon a lovely lake with a walk-out pier. One of the two pools features a fun waterfall feature; the other pool is slightly more formal, with a central fountain. The resort has a total of 3 heated swimming pools– there is an additional smaller pool located near the towers furthest from the main entrance and clubhouse area. The grounds also include tennis and basketball courts, a children’s playground and shuffleboard courts, a fitness center, and a fitness trail that winds through shaded woods and open areas around the picturesque lake adjacent to the resort. Mature trees and landscaping give HGV SeaWorld the feeling of being a relaxed, secluded oasis. Once you’ve settled in to your suite, with all the comforts of home, you’ll have everything you need to unwind and enjoy a great vacation, with numerous park attractions and the outside world just minutes away.

HGV SeaWorld is an official SeaWorld Partner hotel, which means guests receive free shuttle service to SeaWorld, Discovery Cove and Aquatica, dining and merchandise discounts, a complimentary rescue tour, and priority entry. Check at the Guest Services desk for details.

Rooms

All 1-bedroom suites sleep up to 4 guests, and are a spacious 878 square feet with one king-size bed in the master bedroom and a queen-size sofa bed in the living room. All 2-bedroom suites sleep up to 6 guests, and offer a full 1,225 square feet of living space. 2-bedroom suites have a primary bedroom with a king-sized bed and one bedroom with either one king or two queen-sized beds. Each bedroom in a 2-bedroom suite has its own full-sized bathroom, closet space and television.  There is an additional queen-sized sofa bed in the living room. This resort also has 3-bedroom suites that sleep 8. 3-bedroom suites have the same room configuration as the 2-bedroom suites, plus an additional guest room with two queen-sized beds. There are three bathrooms– the primary bedroom’s bathroom has a soaking tub; the guest bedrooms each have shower/tub combos. Three-bedroom suites are 1,621 square feet and have plenty of room to spread out, and include three bathrooms.

Every 1, 2- or 3-bedroom suite includes a well-appointed and comfortable living room with a pull-out queen-size sofa bed, a separate dining area, screened lanai or balcony, and a fully equipped kitchen. All suites include:

The resort also offers studios that sleep 2. Studios are 400sf, and are more like a standard hotel room with a king-size bed, bathroom with tub/shower combo, screened balcony, and a kitchenette with a wet bar, small refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, dishes and utensils. One bathroom includes a shower/tub combo.

Bedrooms are comfortably furnished and feature beds with their signature white 250 thread count luxurious bedding. For stays of 5 or more nights, housekeeping is provided on the 3rd day. For shorter stays, housekeeping can be requested as needed. 

All suites are 100% non-smoking. There is a designated smoking area near the clubhouse bell services stand. 

If you are used to staying in a standard hotel room, you will find that the amenities of a condominium style suite make your stay even more enjoyable. These spacious suites give you space to spread out, bedroom privacy, and the ability to prepare your own food. Using real plates and silverware feels more civilized and relaxing than eating take-out food perched on the edge of a hotel bed. Combining the comforts of home, like a washer and dryer in your suite, with a private resort atmosphere, just makes vacationing less stressful. The cost is about the same as a upper-moderate hotel, but you get much more.

Dining Options

Coral Reef Bar and Grill, the resort’s eatery, is open from noon – 9pm daily, and serves grab n’ go burgers, sandwiches and salads along with tropical cocktails and other drinks. There is an indoor area with tables and counter-side seating, or guests can be served poolside at the main pools. 

Provisions Market & Fresh Deli is open 7am – 8pm and offers a variety of breakfast sandwiches and pastries, and ready-to-go salads and Boars Head sandwiches for quick lunches. Starbucks coffees and specialty drinks are available and there is a selection of beverages, gifts, and sundries. 

If you plan to have most of your meals at the resort, you probably will want to stock up at the Publix Super Market at Regency Village or at Williamsburg Downs Shopping Center— both are within a couple of miles of the resort. There is also a Whole Foods Market and a Walmart Supercenter nearby on Turkey Lake Road, about a 10 minute drive north on I-4.

Transportation

Having a rental car is a good idea when staying at HGV SeaWorld. The resort offers shuttle transportation to the Walt Disney World Transportation Center for $10 roundtrip per person (prices are subject to change). From the transportation center you can get a Disney monorail or bus to the other Walt Disney World parks and resorts. You’ll need to contact the Tickets & Transportation Desk 24 hours in advance for reservations. Transportation to Universal is available for $10 roundtrip (prices are subject to change), but the times and drop off points are not optimal. Driving yourself will be significantly more convenient. It’s about a 12-18 minute drive to the Walt Disney World theme parks, depending on which park you are going to. The resort is about 14-18 minutes from Universal Orlando, and just a few minutes from SeaWorld, Discovery Cove or Aquatica.

HGV SeaWorld is an excellent choice if you are visiting any or multiple parks for more than 2 or 3 days and want to be in a beautiful resort with room to spread out and the ability to cook or prepare your own meals. We believe the resort offers exceptional value for the cost, which is about the same as a moderate hotel.

You Should Also Know

Housekeeping services are provided on the 3rd day of stays for 5 nights or more.  Additional housekeeping can be requested at no cost, and additional amenities (linens, toiletries) are available on request and delivered in protective packaging.

Because Hilton Grand Vacations SeaWorld is an ownership property, you may be asked at check-in if you are interested in hearing about the HGV Ownership program. If you are not interested, “no thank you” is all you need to say; they will not ask again. If you are interested in ownership, you will be asked to attend a sales presentation, often in exchange for a gift of some kind. Presentations can last anywhere from one hour to several hours depending on your interest. You are not obligated in any way to attend a sales presentation.

When comparing HGV SeaWorld to other vacation ownership resorts and rates, keep in mind that many vacation ownership properties do not include daily housekeeping. Some charge a fee of as much as $60/day for room cleaning! The MouseSavers rates at HGV SeaWorld include housekeeping (based on length of stay). Also, parking is FREE, and resort fees of $25/day + tax are waived for MouseSavers guests. The resort fee includes Wi-Fi; domestic long distance calls; DVD NOW unlimited movie rentals; 2 cups of Starbucks Coffee OR 2 16 oz. bottles of water per day, and 1-800/local calls.
