Hilton Grand Vacations at Tuscany Village is a beautifully-landscaped Mediterranean-styled gated resort just off Vineland Avenue next door to the Orlando Premium Outlets, 4 miles from the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. Our most recent addition to MouseSavers Preferred Hotels, this gorgeous resort features studio, 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom fully-furnished condominium-style suites with full kitchens that easily suit large parties and families. Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) is the vacation-ownership property arm of Hilton Hotels and also provides standard hotel services. Tuscany Village received a 2018 Certificate of Excellence from Tripadvisor.

The seven 7-story villa towers that make up Tuscany Village surround a lovely lake, with a grand piazza near the entrance. It’s an easy walk around the lake on beautiful paved pathways from the towers to the resort’s two heated swimming pools, a clubhouse with billiards, arcade games and outdoor table tennis; market and deli and other eateries.  Parking and roadways are located behind the villa buildings, which makes the resort interior feel private and very pedestrian friendly. Once you’ve settled in to your suite, there is a feeling of being in a relaxed resort oasis, with all the comforts of home — and everything else you may need to enjoy a great vacation.

Every 1, 2- or 3-bedroom suite includes a well-appointed and comfortable living room with a pull-out queen-size sofa bed, a separate dining area, screened lanai or balcony, and a fully equipped kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, cooktop, oven, coffee maker, blender, toaster and dishware, cookware and utensils, and a washer/dryer. Master bedrooms include a jetted tub/hydro spa and separate bathroom. Standard room features include two or three HDTVs with cable and premium channels, CD/DVD players, an in-room safe, A/C, two telephones with dataports and voicemail, and wireless high-speed Internet. Every suite also includes an iron and full-size ironing board, along with a supply of dish and laundry soap. Complimentary coffee is provided, as are bathing sundries such as shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Bedrooms are pleasantly furnished and feature beds with their signature white 250 thread count luxurious bedding. MouseSavers guests receive daily housekeeping. All suites are 100% non-smoking. There are designated smoking areas in several outdoor locations around the resort.

All 1-bedroom suites sleep up to 4 guests, and are a spacious 855 square feet with one king-size bed in the master bedroom and a queen-size sofa bed in the living room. All 2-bedroom suites sleep up to 6 guests, and offer a full 1,219 square feet of living space. Two-bedroom suites have two bathrooms; the second bathroom has a standard tub shower. A separate guest room includes either one king-sized bed or two double-size beds and the living room has a queen-size sofa bed. There are a limited number of 3-bedroom suites that sleep 8, and feature two king beds and two double beds and a queen size sofa bed in the living room. Three-bedroom suites are 1,583 square feet and have plenty of room to spread out, and include three bathrooms. If you don’t need a full kitchen or extra room, the resort also has studios that sleep 2. Studios are more like a standard hotel room with a king-size bed, bathroom with tub/shower combo, screened balcony, and a kitchenette with a wet bar, small refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, dishes and utensils.

If you are used to staying in a standard hotel room, you will find that the amenities of a condominium style suite make your stay even more enjoyable. These spacious suites gives you space to spread out, bedroom privacy, and the ability to prepare your own food. Using real plates and silverware feels more civilized and relaxing than eating pizza perched on the edge of a hotel bed. Combining the comforts of home, like a washer and dryer in your suite, with the atmosphere of a luxurious resort, just makes vacationing less stressful. The cost is about the same as a upper-moderate hotel, but you get much more.

If you are traveling with small children, cribs and highchairs can be provided upon request. These items are limited in supply and therefore not guaranteed, and additional charges may apply. To make arrangements, guests should contact the resort directly.

Guests at Tuscany Village have complimentary access to all of the resort amenities and on-site entertainment. Kids and adults can enjoy two hotel pools – one with a  kiddie splash pad and  one with zero entry for little ones; three whirlpool spas; a covered playground; a clubhouse with billiards, arcade games and outdoor table tennis; and two Precor fitness centers (guests must be age 18+ or accompanied by an adult to use the fitness center). If you like to exercise outdoors, there is a lakeside jogging path and sports courts. Evening poolside movies are shown daily if weather permits. There are multiple outdoor barbecue areas with patio dining tables, should you feel the need to throw your own steak on the grill. Guests can also enjoy an impressive array of scheduled daily activities. Times, frequency and specific events may change by season, and, of course, some are subject to weather conditions. Upon arrival you may want to visit the Guest Activity/Recreation Desk to find out what activities are scheduled during your visit.

Fresco Market & Deli is the resort’s grocery store, deli and Starbucks coffee shop all in one. The market has a few gifts and sundries as well as staples such as bacon, eggs, milk and a selection of soft drinks, wine and beer — but it’s pricey. You may want to drive over to Publix Market on the other side of Vineland, if you are looking to stock up on any serious groceries. The deli offers a number of reasonably priced hot breakfast choices such as scrambled eggs, waffles, frittatas, or oatmeal. Prices range from $3 – $8 with special kid’s meals available for $6. Lunch and dinner fare includes hefty sandwiches and salads ranging from $9 – $11. If you are hankering from something cold and sweet, there’s also a small ice cream bar serving scoops, milkshakes, banana splits and sundaes. Fresco Market and Deli is opens from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm daily.

The Toscana Pool Bar & Grill is a full-service restaurant conveniently located near the clubhouse pool pool that’s open 11:00 am – 11:00 pm daily.  It offers a relaxed, casual atmosphere with  outdoor seating, and a complete menu of various entrees, burgers, flatbreads, sandwiches, salads and appetizers or snacks as well as a full bar with beer, wine and specialty cocktails.

Fresh Tuscan Pizza, located near the Laguna pool, is open from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm if you’re in need of a quick snack or dinner. In addition to pizzas, hot subs and a small selection of salads and appetizers are available to pick up and take back to your suite. Room delivery is also available. You can even order ahead and have your pizza ready when you return from the parks!

From Tuscany Village you can easily walk to the Orlando Premium Outlets via a private gated side entrance (accessible by your room key), and there are many restaurants and shops nearby, including a Benihana just down the road and Bahama Breeze, Panera Bread and BJ’s Restaurant less than 5 minutes away on Vineland Ave. If you plan to have most of your meals at the resort, you probably will want to stock up at the Publix grocery store and Walgreens, across the street at the corner of Vineland and International Drive. You can walk there, but crossing Vineland is not for the faint of heart. It’s a quick 2-minute drive.

The resort offers a full-service 24-hour front desk with express check-in/out, a tour desk, ticket services, baggage storage, ATM, currency exchange and concierge service. Luggage assistance to your suite is available, but most owners and guests tend to arrive with their own car or a rental car, park near their suite, and carry their own bags to their room. There are self-service luggage carts available at each building so that you can more easily get multiple suitcases and bags up to your room.

Because the Tuscany Village is a Hilton Grand Vacations ownership property, you may be asked at check-in if you are interested in hearing about the HGV Ownership program. If you are not interested, “no thank you” is all you need to say; they will not ask again. If you are interested in ownership, you will be asked to attend a sales presentation, often in exchange for a gift of some kind. Presentations can last anywhere from one hour to several hours depending on your interest. You are not obligated in any way to attend a sales presentation.

When comparing Tuscany Village to other vacation ownership resorts and rates, keep in mind that many vacation ownership properties do not include daily housekeeping. Some charge a fee of as much as $60/day for room cleaning! The MouseSavers rates at Tuscany Village include daily housekeeping. Also, parking is FREE, and resort fees of $25/day + tax are waived for MouseSavers guests. The resort fee includes Wi-Fi; domestic long distance calls; DVD NOW unlimited movie rentals; 2 cups of Starbucks Coffee OR 2 16 oz. bottles of water per day, and 1-800/local calls.

Having a rental car is a good idea when staying at Tuscany Village. The resort does offer shuttle transportation to the Walt Disney World Transportation Center for $10 roundtrip per person. From the transportation center you can get a Disney monorail or bus to the other Walt Disney World parks and resorts. You’ll need to contact Tickets & Transportation Desk 24 hours in advance for reservations. Transportation to Universal and SeaWorld is available for a small fee, but the times and dropoff points are not optimal. Driving yourself will be significantly more convenient. It’s about a 12-18 minute drive to the Walt Disney World theme parks, depending on which park you are going to. The resort is about 15 minutes from Universal Orlando, and just 10 minutes from SeaWorld.

Tuscany Village is an excellent choice if you are visiting the parks for more than 2 or 3 days and want to be in a beautiful resort with room to spread out and the ability to cook or prepare your own meals. The easy grocery and outlet shopping add to the ‘home away from home’ feel, and overall, we believe the resort offers exceptional value for the cost.
