Disney occasionally offers substantial discounts on its Vero Beach and Hilton Head resorts, particularly for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and Florida residents. There are sometimes good deals available to the general public as well.

Vero Beach and Hilton Head are Disney Vacation Club resorts that can be purchased as timeshares. However, you do not have to do the timeshare presentations to simply book a vacation. The units are available for booking just like hotel rooms, if you wish.

Units range from studios with a wet bar and small refrigerator to 1 and 2-bedroom villas with full kitchens. Rates listed here do not include tax.

MouseSavers.com reader Meryl S reports at the Vero Beach resort "there is a complete book of restaurants and menus (with directions) in the lobby near the concierge desk. It is very helpful and none of the restaurants are very far. Having been there twice, I can tell you that the food at the resort is fair, but some of the restaurants we went to (after finding the book) were very good."

Some of the certificates give you 50% off your meal and others are for a specific amount (usually $25) but you get them at a discounted price (usually $12.50 or less).
