In 2009, the Toys for Tots drive was held December 5-20. Admission is FREE when a toy, valued at $15 or more, is purchased at a Knott's Berry Farm merchandise location. Proof of purchase required. Guests wishing to bring a pre-purchased toy (purchased elsewhere) to donate, valued at $15 or more, will receive a coupon for $15 admission into Knott's. This is an annual event. In 2010, the Canned Food Drive, benefitting the Orange County Food Bank, was January 4-31. Every guest bringing 2 cans of food to the park during that time period gets in for the kids' price. All 2010 Entertainment Books contain a coupon for $8 off one-day Regular (adult) admission and a coupon for $10 off a Regular Platinum Pass (valid at all Cedar Fair amusement parks and water parks in North America). Southern California Resident Discounts Southern California residents (zip codes 90000-93599) can purchase Regular (adult) tickets for $44.99 at the ticket booths with proof of residency. Show your military ID at the ticket window and get in for just $29.99 (NOT valid for special ticket events such as Halloween Haunt). This is an annual event. In 2009, past and present US armed forces personnel received FREE park admission for them and a guest November 1-26 only. Up to six additional tickets could be purchased for only $15 each. Annual Fire and Police Tribute This is an annual event. In 2009, Fire & Police personnel received FREE park admission for them and a guest November 26 through December 20 only. Gray Line Day TourGray Line offers a 9-hour bus tour to Knotts Berry Farm, which departs from Anaheim. Courtesy hotel pick-up for the tour is provided from most Anaheim, Buena Park and Garden Grove area hotels. The Gray Line tour is especially suitable for those who are not comfortable with driving the California freeways, since all of the ground transportation from place to place is provided. The Knotts Berry Farm tour is priced the same as a full-price ticket to Knotts, making it a great deal.
Knott's Berry Farm - Special EventsHalloween HauntHalloween Haunt (aka "Knott's Scary Farm") is an annual event. In 2009, starting September 24, your worst nightmare ran for 28 nights! Halloween Haunt transforms the family-friendly Knott’s Berry Farm into a 160-acre living horror movie filled with 13 chilling mazes, seven hair-raising shows, three horrific scare zones and 1,000 monsters roaming for their next victim. This event is not recommended for children under 13. Click here for more information. Christmas Events"Knotts Merry Farm" is an annual event. For 2009, festivities included “A Charlie Brown Christmas” with seasonal entertainment, spectacular decorations including a 65 foot tall Christmas tree, and a colorful Christmas parade starting Thanksgiving day and running through December 30. Knott’s 1880s Ghost Town is transformed into Knott’s Christmas Crafts Village, inviting guests to explore one-of-a-kind treasures created by more than 100 artisans in a Victorian holiday wonderland of strolling carolers, musical groups, community choirs and lavish holiday decorations. "A Peanuts Holiday Parade" offers seven elaborately themed floats featuring the Peanuts Gang and accompanied by students from Orange County Song and Dance Company.
