FREE Ticket to Disneyland or Walt Disney World on Your Birthday!

As part of the theme "What Will You Celebrate?" everyone who visits a Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort theme park on their birthday in 2009 can get in FREE!

This offer is available ONLY on your actual birthday. To receive FREE admission to one of the Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme parks on your birthday in 2009, you must bring valid ID including proof of birth date. The FREE ticket can be upgraded on your birthday to a higher-priced ticket (such as a Park Hopper), but you must pay the difference.

Guests who already hold a valid annual pass or multi-day ticket (such as those included in vacation packages) that they will use on their birthday may choose from other birthday treats instead; however, no cash refunds or credits will be given. The other treat options include:

• A birthday fun card in an amount equal to the price of a One Day/One Park base ticket for you to use on your birthday for merchandise, recreation or fun activities at select participating locations; or

• A special birthday FASTPASS badge for certain attractions at the Theme Park you visit on your birthday; or

• A nonupgradeable One Day/One Park base ticket for you to use any time until your next birthday.

FREE Ticket to Walt Disney World for Military

With the "Disney's Armed Forces Salute" offer, active and retired US military personnel, including active and retired members of the United States Coast Guard and activated members of the National Guard or Reservists, can enjoy complimentary, multi-day admission into the Walt Disney World theme parks.

Active and retired US military personnel get a FREE 5-Day ticket for Walt Disney World, and their friends and family can get a 5-Day Walt Disney World ticket for $99 each! Runs through 12/23/09.

FREE Ticket to Disneyland or Walt Disney World When You Volunteer in 2010!

Beginning January 1, 2010, when you sign up here to volunteer a day of service with a participating organization
(and your service is completed and verified) you'll get one day admission to a Walt Disney World or Disneyland
theme park, FREE!

Disney hopes to inspire families to volunteer in their communities during 2010 through this first-of-its-kind program. One million people who perform volunteer service for a participating organization will receive a free one-day admission ticket to a Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort theme park.

To enable people to sign up for an eligible volunteer project, Disney is working with HandsOn Network, the nation’s largest volunteer network.  Part of Points of Light Institute, HandsOn Network has 250 on-the-ground volunteer action centers across the country and connects volunteers to more than 70,000 nonprofit agencies that need their help.

Starting January 1, 2010, guests can go to DisneyParks.com (for the United States and Puerto Rico) or DisneyParks.ca (for Canada) to search for volunteer opportunities available in those areas through HandsOn Network and sign up for a day of volunteer service.  Many of the opportunities will be for projects that entire families can participate in together.

FREE Webcam and Satellite Views of Disneyland & Walt Disney World

Want to see Disneyland for free? The Howard Johnson Anaheim offers views of Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure theme parks via its "Mattercam" -- you can even control the camera!

If you'd like a little glimpse of Walt Disney World for free, try this webcam view that will show you the last 24 hours in time-lapse format. The camera is located at the top of the Dolphin hotel, pointing toward Disney's Beach Club Resort and with a view of Epcot's Geosphere in the background.

For a 3D satellite view of the theme parks check out Google Earth. You can download the software for free and explore Walt Disney World, Disneyland, even Disneyland Paris or Tokyo Disney Resort on your home computer! Thanks to Michael for info.
