Marriott Village is a unique concept offered only one place in the world: Lake Buena Vista, home of Walt Disney World! This shared, gated "village" located just a mile from the gates of the Disney property, includes three different Marriott-branded hotels: Courtyard®, SpringHill Suites® and Fairfield Inn & Suites®.

Each hotel offers its own specific amenities, some of which guests of the other hotels can share. Pool-hopping between the hotel pools is allowed, for instance, and the restaurant and lounge at the Courtyard are available to guests of the other two hotels.

The Marriott Village Hotels recently completed a $5 million renovation, with all three hotel lobbies getting new carpet, drapes, furnishings and plasma TVs. The restaurants in each hotel were also redone.

At the center of the complex is the Village Marketplace, which includes a Pizza Hut, ice cream counter, deli and grill (subs, salads, pizza, burgers, etc.) and a coffee bar serving Starbucks. For other dining options, it's a very short stroll from Marriott Village to the adjacent Bahama Breeze (casual dining) and Golden Corral (buffet), and there's a Panera Bread location nearby for reasonably priced sandwiches, soups and salads.

All rooms and suites at Marriott Village have the "Revive" bed from Marriott, featuring new thicker mattresses, duvets and luxury linens. Each room includes (at minimum) FREE Internet access, cable television, small fridge and coffeemaker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Each hotel has a fitness room with towels and water provided. Guests have access to a coin laundry and there is also laundry/dry cleaning valet service available. For kids there is a video arcade. If you need to keep valuables safe, there are safe deposit boxes at the front desk of each hotel.

There is a gift shop in the complex that sells all the basics, as well as a desk that sells Disney tickets. The Village Marketplace also includes a convenience store that sells refrigerated and frozen food items, snacks, drinks and sundries.

The hotels offer scheduled transportation to Walt Disney World for a daily fee. You can also reserve transportation to and from the airport, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld and Kennedy Space Center for a fee.

If you choose to rent a car, Hertz car rental has a desk in the hotel complex. It's an easy and quick drive to the Disney theme parks and there is FREE, gated self-parking at Marriott Village.
